Cream of Tomato-Chipotle - Crema de Tomate y Chipotle

A delicious combination of pureed ripe tomatoes, chipotle chiles (smoked jalapeño chiles), cream and Mexican spices.

Stovetop Directions
Pour contents into a small saucepan and heat on medium heat until hot, stirring as necessary.

Microwave Directions
Pour contents into microwave-safe bowl. Cover and heat on high for up to 2 minutes (microwave ovens vary)

Serving Suggestion
Add homemade spiced croutons: Slice French bread in half length-wise. Brush with olive oil, chile powder and a dash of salt. Bake in the toaster until golden brown. Break into pieces and add to your soup as desired.
